Another Water Rate Increase--Public Hearing

There will be a public hearing tonight (April 5, 2012) at 6:00 p.m. regarding another water rate increase. From what I've been told, the rate will be an additional .75/gallon and the minimum limit will be reduced from 2,000/gallons per month to 1,000/gallons per month. The board will listen to citizen's comments and explain why they're accepting a grant that's requiring another water rate increase. After the public hearing, the board will have the meeting that was cancelled Tuesday due to a lack of a quorum, if enough aldermen are present.
