Danny "Death-Panel" Davis: Bitch Baby and Beyond
I think this is week 2 and Danny Davis, the person responsible for the testing of Lumberton’s water supply has not returned the calls of any of the citizens concerned about Lumberton’s water system. I had several people, black and white, to call city hall to ask to speak with Danny Davis since I knew this coward would not return my calls. Needless to say, no one has received a call from Danny Davis. I guess he will go on the Lumberton Connection and proclaim that no one has called but the time he took to make his “I’m a victim” post, he could have simply called to confirm or deny the presence of led in our water system and explain why the well has not been repaired but he know he’s not required to be accountable to the concerned citizens of Lumberton because he simply don’t care if our water is safe or not because he don’t live in Lumberton’s city limits and this current administration will support his childish behavior.
In light of the issues with the water system in Flynt, Michigan, someone asked via the Lumberton Informer facebook page if the water system in Lumberton was lead free. I posted a response and said I would ask the public works director and it turned into Lumberton’s Water-gate because Danny Davis felt he didn’t have to respond to a question from the Lumberton Informer. First he lied and made the claim that no one called city hall and his little minions came out to support him because they said I would “twist the truth”. Really??? The fact that a person that’s responsible for the safety of our drinking water refused to answer a legitimate question is another example of what’s wrong with the City of Lumberton. I don’t care who asked the question, it is your duty to respond. Danny Davis is carrying a city paid cellphone but he’s making decisions NOT to respond to questions about out water system because he don’t like the person(s) asking the question.
Unlike others, I don’t wait until something bad has happened before I seek answers. WDAM and WLBT tested water in Hattiesburg, Laurel and Jackson after news spread about the water system in Flynt, Michigan. So, for Danny Davis to act like it was an unusual question, especially after it was revealed that the water system in Flynt was jeopardized because of poor decisions by its political leaders, is ludicrous. We all know that Lumberton is withering away because of poor decisions by its elected officials and I, along with other concerned citizens, wanted to know if our water system was next on the chopping block. Keep in mind that I regularly attend meetings and for months Danny has complained about a well that was not working and the fact that there’s not enough money to repair the well. Now, he’s flip-flopping and saying the well is not essential but if it was not essential, why is in in place? One of the reasons why Danny Davis don’t want to respond to my calls is because I know him and his biased way of thinking.
Just a few years ago, people were all up in arms about the Affordable Health Care Plan (Obama-care) because of claims that there was a clause about a death panel. Little did people know, we had our own death panel in Lumberton and they made decisions based on the recommendation of Danny Davis. Not too long ago, public works employee Perry McLemore passed away after losing his fight against cancer. What a lot of people didn’t know, was McLemore lost his health insurance because shortly after he was diagnosed with cancer, Danny Davis recommended his termination of employment. Now rewind to the Holder Administration. There was another public works employee that had cancer but it was recommended that he be allowed to clean city hall so he could remain on the payroll and keep his medical insurance. I can’t remember his name but I run into him every now and then and he always ask if I still attend the board meetings. Now, I don’t know if Danny’s decision was based on race but I’ve never witnessed him fighting for a raise, promotion, take home truck or job retention for anyone outside his race. Danny Davis recommended the termination of Stanley Calloway who was employed with the City of Lumberton for 18 years in order to keep a seasonal worker and I don’t think it mattered to Davis that Calloway lost his home after he was terminated after providing nearly two decades of service. Interestingly, there’s still seasonal employees on the payroll but because of a personal agenda, Davis wanted Calloway terminated and that’s why I question his failure to respond to two simple questions about the quality of Lumberton’s water. Do we have to wait for a report years from now before we realize that Lumberton’s only resource is the water department? The water department is being used to fund the City of Lumberton but Danny Davis can’t take time out of his not so busy day to answer questions from concerned citizens but he has no problem allowing WSOM to be robbed every month in order to pay the general fund because his silence allows him the freedom to act like a bitch baby when he don’t like the person that dare to hold him accountable and ask about our water system. Hopefully, Danny has finally met the PERS requirements and will retire so that Michael or Keenon can take over the department. In Danny's defense, I would probably be grouchy too if I was still working in my 70's.
Maybe that's why Merlene is so miserable? She's in her 70's, wearing Depends, suffering from vaginal dryness with a bad dye job and sagging naughty bits and I mean bits with a husband that couldn't get a rise on an elevator. I also love the fact that she will be forever listed in Google with these posts. The longer she stay in that position the more post and that increaess her rating in Google searches. I'm just wondering if you would remove posts associated with her if she resign?
ReplyDeleteBitch baby. LOL!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do a blog on him every week until his dumb ass answers yoir question. The nerve of that red neck racist motherfucker. He think he gets to choose who he answers. Any citizen that have questions about the quality of water should receive an answer. Period.
ReplyDeleteDanny will be on Lumberton Connection whining for support. I'll send you the screenshots.
ReplyDeleteIf a man owns a squirrel dog and the dog is good, the man's family eats everyday, but when you have a fairly good dog that will tree squirrels but barks up the wrong tree his family don't eat as good. Until you stop with the racial division and the pety non-sense you keep spouting off, and start barking up the right tree about the real problems Lumberton that has brought this town down nothing will change. Lumberton is nothing but a community and that's all it will ever be. This started a couple generations ago not a decade. Take a little scroll down memory lane and now ride around town. The morals and values of citizens are gone. A town is just like a church, the building is not the church, the people are, same as the people are the town. I agree with Mr. Ben you could do a lot to help this town. But you refuse to bark up the right tree. Your blogs are a big part in driving people away...
ReplyDeleteYour under the guise of anonymity but yet you have no answers. IF you know what tree I should be shaking then why not list it. Oh wait. That would require a solution and you couldn't try to detract from the issues at hand.
DeleteSince you are so educated why don't you go to the next meeting and ask for Danny Davis (bitch baby)and Merlene to be FIRED and you run the show??? Think you could handle it?????
ReplyDeleteContrary to your belief I don't want their job. I just want them to do their job or get someone that will.
DeleteIf the anonymous commenter was paying attention he/she would know that educated people aren't wanted at city hall and that's part of the problem.
ReplyDeleteI think City Hall is uneducated and has no respect but the real problem is hate.
ReplyDeleteInformer People don't understand all you are asking for is Change and to better the City of Lumberton, if they would listen you have a plan but that's not what they or looking for. I think it's all about under the table deals not so much about race.
