Smoke Free Air Mississippi


Cora Rogers, Executive Director of the Mississippi Tobacco Free Coalition of Lamar and Marion Counties, will host a Smoke Free Air Mississippi Event on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Ben Barrett Community Center/Voting Precinct in Lumberton. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m with booth exhibits, health screenings and drawings for door prizes. Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m there will be a Smoke Free Air Mississippi Presentation. At 1:30 p.m. there will be a drawing for the grand door prize and the event will close out at 2:00 p.m.

  1. Yea had a great time talking with you. But I see she didn't have to many supporters not even from the city aldermen. But thanks to the mayor for being there. I feel that if a business regardless of the color of the owner the city aldermen should be there to support them. I bet if Paul O. would have had something even the supervisor would be there. Thumbs up to Mrs.Cora.

  2. I wonder how many elected officals are going to attend the Christmas dinner Paul O is having for the city employees. At least 4 aldermen are members of the LEDC and as aldermen they voted to cut the pay of most of the city workers, now they want them to come out and have a spaghetti dinner with them as a way of showing thanks for all they've done for the city. Give me a break. Also, there is a Christmas parade this weekend, when will there be a parade for the Lumberton Panthers or at least an appreciation banquet.
