Let's Hope Like Hale It's True
There's a rumor circulating that Rebecca Hale is thinking about resigning from her position as Alderman, Ward 2. Last night, she was in panic mode and needed to speak with Timothy Johnson after the meeting. Apparently, she's thinking of submitting her letter of resignation. I seriously doubt she's going to resign. Who's going to rally the board members into paying for all those conference meetings, who's going to declare that they personally reviewed and corrected the minutes, and who's going to force the city to pay for insurance that's not beneficial to most of the city's employees? If she were to leave, who will be left to fill that void? Like I said, I doubt she's going to resign, unless of course, the details of her first husband's esatate has finally been settled. Otherwise, she'll stay, like the others, in order to keep the insurance coverage.

ReplyDeleteWhen Rebecca Hale or Becky was elected to her position, I thought that the city was on the path to doing great things. I didn't know Rebecca and I still don't know Rebecca. My first time speaking with Becky was when she approaced me about documenting the incident where Bobby Gibson had approached the branch manager about blocking my blog and trying to get Ben Winston to stop the county from funding the Lumberton library. She told me she was keeping a file of various reports/complaints about Gibson and Johnson. I guess I had on my Poker Face b/c up to that point, I didn't know that Bobby had went to Melinda about banning me from the library, and Melinda certainly wasn't about to tell me what was going on. After she read the blog and realized that I didn't know what Bobby had done, she stopped speaking to me. As the months progressed, I noticed that she was changing her ways and her voting pattern. She did a complete flip-flop. She was the main one wanting to get Lindsey Carter fired, but when he came forth to represent her husband, who had been charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance, she changed her whole game plan. Next thing I know, she was working the front office at city hall, reviewing the minutes and no one, other that Stephanie, could tell her anything. Then she really showed her true colors. She told one of her friends that she wished something bad would happen to me and how nobody in Lumberton would care. How "caring" of her friend to pass this hate-filled message on to me. If Becky had a problem with me then she should have taken whatever she's taking and spoke to me with a sober mind. I don't talk behind her back and didn't appreciate her talking behind mine. Anything I've said about her I have no problem repeating, but apparently she can't say the same. If she's been hurt by the comments or anything else, then cut the crap and let me know. I don't deal with passive aggressive people. Just like she like her friends and family, I love mine. Don't come for me if you don't want me to come for you. Can't stand hypocritical people. But I will say this, if she stop telling lies about me I will stop telling the truth about her. Purple and out.

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think she's a racist, but if you want to know about Melinda, the best person to ask is Melinda; anything I have to say would be an opinion.
DeleteDon't let Melinda fool you, she's not as dumb as she looks. She know exactly what she's doing. There have been many times, after a board meeting, she was furious over something someone said, but once they were in the library, she would flash her fake smile like she never said a word. She's a snake and she don't care who she strike at, especially if she think they're going after one of her friends and I'm sure you know by now that she's not your friend.
