Take a Seat...I'll Take Several...100

Yesterday, I received an anonymous text that said I needed to take several seats. First let me say, I went to Google to see how was it possible that I received an anonymous text and the amount of work required to accomplish that cowardly feat is just too time consuming for me but hey cowards do what cowards do. However, I agree with the text, I should take a seat as a matter of fact I need several seats. I think 100 is a good number. Don't you? Now, I'm going to discuss the various comments that were posted yesterday and hopefully this will put this matter to rest. Hopefully, you Gerber Christians will learn something from this post because it's obvious that you're not getting any meat on Sundays.

Whenever criticism is rendered towards a minister we often hear people defend their spiritual or religious leaders with such words as "touch not my anointed" when such leaders are being questioned or spoken against regarding their ungodly behavior. There are some religious leaders that threaten their congregations with a curse should they question their leader or speak against that leader in an attempt to make them accountable on certain issues. A careful look at the origin of the words "touch not my anointed" actually shows that church folks and religious leaders have grossly taken scriptures out of context and mislead, manipulated, intimidated and dominated many in these last days. This is such as a jezebel or witchcraft spirit. When David and the Israelites went to battle against the Philistines the Philistines were defeated and the Ark of the Covenant was brought to the people of God. David rendered these Psalms to God. If we are to read such words, "touch not my anointed" in context contrary to out of context, as it is so often used, it refers to the harming or killing of God's anointed ones-the Israelites. The passage does not refer to holding religious leaders accountable or speaking against them.

The following scriptures explains that all believers are anointed ones and were given a certain measure of anointing:

"Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us [is] God"-2 Corinthians 1:21
"These things I have written to you concerning those who [try to] deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him."-1 John 2:26-27
Let's be clear, it does not mean that we don't need pastors and gifts in the body of Christ, but if it doesn't equip and edify believers, then it is operating as a Jezebel spirit.
"Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols."-Revelations 2:20
"And He himself gave some [to be] apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ."-Ephesians 4:11-12
I don't know about you but I can't be a part of a ministry where the leader intimidates, manipulates, dominates and threatens with all manners of curse if/when they are questioned. The bible is filled with examples where the leaders were questioned. So are you saying you're better that Moses, Job, and Jesus because all of them were questioned by their followers but they were wise master builders that were equipped with the wisdom to provide an answer instead of an assault. So to the person that texted me saying I need to take a seat...you're right. I need to take several seats, while I'm at it can I get some plants, shelves, mirrors, vases, lamps, frames, dishes, collection baskets, glass tables, glasses, utensils, Christmas trees and decorations since you opened that door. Well, with all hearts and minds satisfied, I would like to close and get ready to prepare my mind to hold the other questionable leaders accountable. There's a regular called meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m.

  2. Wayment? They want to put you out but keep your stuff. So the pretty chairs, boxes in the foyer, plants and decorations were yours? I should have known. Your stuff/touch is visible in every room but they can't stand to look at you. Tuh!

  3. Church members are worst than sinners or should I say save and unsaved. Show me a Pastor in Lumberton who live the life God will have them to live. This is one reason why this generation is lost because of people like this.

  4. I am waiting to see which members will stand up for what is right. I see the Pastor is caught up in self. It is no way GOD is pleased with his action. He is busy trying to keep the tithers, wife and children happy in their sin.

  5. I doubt anyone will stand up for the truth. They allowed this man to break up a church and families for his quest to become a bishop. Those that are with him are there for self serving purposes. I don't know who the committee is but they're getting something from the deal. Good post but I hope this is the last one because the Bishop will say they're being persecuted for Christ. I hope you get your stuff back or at least a check for its value. But they're hustlers and it seems like you've been hustled.

  6. If I'm interpreting the scriptures right then according to Genesis 14:23, Jay Griff has made Rehoboth rich. Did you buy those chairs? Didn't you give them a meeting place when you worked at Woodchase Apartments? I should have known those were your Christmas decorations based on the trees you have up at your house. Now why did you skimp on those tacky wreaths they have on their doors. They look nothing like the ones you have on your door. I guess that's not your handiwork but they didn't reject any if your gifts, not even a thread so you can say that you made them rich!

  7. I'm really enjoying these No More Sheets moments and I'm sure you're going to be the topic of discussion at Bible study and Church. WTBS. Can we get back to politics because I know them slores at city hall think you forgot about them. You know they're on your blog more than you just like Nigel, Joyce and Robert Louis are sharing this post too. Focus Jay Griff. God got you!

  8. My God, you paid for those chairs and the Bishop sent you to the back of the Church. Could you boycott the Church it is a business because it's to much like hell for a worship place?

  9. Actually it is easy to send an anonymous text, just go to CSpires website if the person you are sending it to has a CSpire phone. http://www.cspire.com/TextMessaging/sendMessage.jsp

  10. Let me see if I can guess who's on the Bishop's Advisory Counsel. I know the heir apparent Nigel Burns is on there for GP and he's the PK. I'm guessing Rev. Keith/Phil is on there. By the way, since when did God give man the authority to change another man's name. I think God is the one that changes names not bishops. I'm sure Jeanette is on the board since her husband is probably the one that's going to do the work. My windows are still uneven from the last job he did for me but thankfully the insurance company didn't notice. I don't think his wife Sapphira is on the board but she's benefiting from the price of the loan. She probably went shopping. I wish my pastor would get a loan based on our tithes and don't tell us the amount we're paying back. He would be paying it back by himself.

  11. What was actually asked to send Bishop Burns into another tantrum? I'm a member but I'm not in the loop. I would like to know because I'm sure it's going to be discussed again Sunday.

    1. Here's what was asked: "I wanted to know if we're hiring a licensed contractor to do the bathroom renovations? Since the church borrowed money for this project, I would hope we are using a professional and not a bootleg carpenter because there's a lot of regulations involved with handicap accessibility. I wonder if the use of a non-licensed carpenter would affect insurance. I saw the work of the person you're using and it's not good but if he's licensed then I don't have a problem. I just want to make sure insurance will cover the work. So let me know. I would appreciate hearing from you." And that's what was said but somehow it turned into a how dare you question me sermon. As you know, everything is celebrated except the truth.

    2. Thank you! Now I know the truth and know how to respond. You have a beautiful, intelligent, Godly mother and so many people are intimidated by her because she actually studies the Word and it shows.

  12. I'm just wondering. Is Elder Jeanette Holder or should I say Sister Chubby still fooling around with Aaron Hart? Is Minister FeFe still fooling around with Gilda? She's always with his mother. Is Emma still fooling around with Roderick? Like I said, I was just wondering since they have so many problems with questions.
