CommUNITY Support for Smithville Tornado Victims


Melida Carli, Branch Manger of the Lumberton Public Library, is spearheading a donation drive to help the families of the tornado ravaged town of Smithville, MS. Donations are being accepted at the Lumberton Public Library that will be dispersed in Smithville, MS on May 13, 2011. They are accepting donations of paper products, non-persihable food items, cleaning supplies, etc. and these items can be left at the library. Donations will be accepted until May 12, 2011. On May 13, 2011, a delegation of Lumberton citizens and officials will travel to Smithville, MS to give out the donations that were collected.
