Pills and Potions

In case you haven't heard, there's allegations that Alderman Jay McGraw was allegedly caught on camera shoplifting. Surprisingly, the matter is not being handled by the Lumberton Police Department. Surely a department of four officers (1 police chief, 2 police captains and 1 additional officer) can handle an alderman that allegedly has stick fingers. If memory serves me correctly, didn't the previous Chief of Police have the sitting mayor charged with obstruction of justice while they had the person she was allegedly protecting in custody? Interesting. But I think that matter was handled by the Lamar County Sheriff's Department so I guess I can see the logic. Well, sort of.

At this point, I'm not sure what was allegedly stolen. The logical side of my brain can understand why the LPD would thread cautiously regarding the alleged shoplifting charges since Jay McGraw was one of the aldermen responsible for the decimation of Lumberton's police protection. McGraw also led the brigade to have a couple of deputy clerks terminated. However, only one was willing to come back and kiss his flask to get her job back. As a matter of fact, the dog and pony show was so effective, the clerk that was fired came back with more hours than an existing clerk that never used profanity towards an elected official. Thanks to Jay McGraw, we have three clerks in one office once again. No wonder he keeps his trusty cup with him all the time.

Now the justice side of me believes no one, even elected officials, is above the law. If McGraw was actually caught on camera shoplifting, he should be charged like any other accused thief. Over a month ago, Margie McGraw lambasted me after I was discussed during an illegal strategy session held during executive session. Margie said my blog has made it difficult for her to walk around the block. I wonder if the fact that her husband has been accused of shoplifting after winning $1,000 make the stroll any easier? I'm not sure what's going to happen. I don't know if the manager will pursue charges but I will keep you updated. In the midst of it all, I'm still grateful. One by one, all of the individuals that were scheduled to testify against me are becoming increasingly questionable witnesses. Usually after posting, I brew a nice, hot cup of tea but in honor of Jay McGraw, I think I'll drink some coffee today with a healthy serving of Kahlua. What the hell! I think I'll just make a White Russian. It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

  1. I still don't understand why Jay McGraw wasn't arrested or charged. If he vote to get the officer fired he can be charged with retaliation. What's the chief's position on this matter? But she's not really a cop she's just a clerk with a badge.

  2. The MBI can be called in to investigate this case.

  3. What I've heard from a bunch of people is that he "procured" a zippo lighter from the display case when no one was looking. They called lumberton police and they police wouldn't do anything next part is a little unclear ive heard they called purvis police or threatened to call someone not to sure but instead he gave back the lighter and payed some amount yet again not to sure so they would drop charges of not charge him and he is supposed to not come back on premises again. Delete this is you feel it should be removed this yet again is just what I've heard from quite a few people.

    1. Thanks for the info. So he essentially was given rbe opportunity to go back and pay for the stolen item to keep from getting charged but other people are not given that option. Wowzers!

  4. It is funny that those that were so eager to run and testify against you are getting exposed. The case Metlene has filed against you is bullshit. Merlene is an incompetent bitch that probably likes to get tea bagged to help keep her mind off the fact that her son is a drug addict. Now we find out that Jay McGraw is a pill popping drunk that likes to steal. Tommy Dukes like barbeque and boys. I can't wait to see what skeleton falls out from under Cora Rogers musty wig. Keep ruffling feathers. Glad you're back blogging.

  5. When you all go to court make sure you subpoena the store manager to testify after Jay McGraw takes the stand. Maybe you can get that black girl in the office to testify too because them Cajun Cunts, Melissa and Merlene, are going to get her sent back to the field. Watch and see. They don't want honest people in the office because rbey might tell when a drunk alderman comes in acting like he's the boss.

  6. They need to do an investigation and find out who's selling pills in Ward 2. This is the second alderpersons from Ward 2 to be strung out on pills. First it was Rebecca Hale and now Jay McGraw. Who's the pusher man in Ward 2?

    1. I'm not trying to change the subject but that Mandingo that works for Russell Ladner's wife is the pill pusher. Y'all know this. You can get pills and sex from him or any girl in the house if your money is right.

  7. How can they legally ban him from the store when charges were never filed?

    1. Any store/business has the right to deny entry/service to anyone. Of course there are some rules that have to be followed by this but I believe shoplifting/trouble making would be on the list reasons to deny entry/service.

  9. Tommy Dukes the DL Deacon. No wonder his wife was stealing from Morning Star to go to the casino. Watch out Zion Hill.

  10. Jay McGraw is such an embarrassment. His wife, Margie McGraw should be mortified. He's also an embarrassment to his position and another embarrassment for the City of Lumberton. WTBS...I'm still calling WDAM.
