Perverting the Course of Justice

I don't know who posted this, but it needs repeating. . . "Just like the children of Israel, so is Lumberton. We wanted a change, along came Greg Cooley, then we decided we didn't want the change we were given, so we didn't support Mayor Cooley. We didn't have the nerve to stand up when he was attacked by Ben Winston. So Greg didn't bother to try and come back but Ben kept going. We decided we wanted change again, along came Miriam Holder, and then we decided we didn't want that change either. So guess what, we find ourselves not supporting Mayor Holder either. We don't have the nerve to stand up when she is being attacked. So hopefully, she will not bother to come back, but Crider will keep going strong. (Everyone don't get it twisted, Bobby don't run sh*&!. He is just the fall guy. When everything comes to a head, he will be the one to shoulder all the blame. He's been an Uncle Tom all his life, and will be just like the ending to the movie, Queen.) Because of our lack of support for our leaders that are trying, we get mayhem in its place."

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Faint not Mayor Holder for you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

    I just can't believe this is happening. They went after Jonathan for telling us what's going on and the people just sat back and thought it was someone elses problem. They went after Mr. Holder because he was doing what a real man should do and that is defend his wife. The people sat back because they didn't think they should get involved. They went after Jonathan the cop because he knew too much about Hobson and the people sat back and did nothing. Now, Bobby Gibson and Kent Crider are coming after the Mayor, What will the people do this time? How can you defame a woman that has taught for over 30 years? Bobby Gibson has been breaking the law since his illerate ass been in office, but now he want the mayor arrested. I still say this goes back to Adrien and his lack of testoerone. When the board told him to give Hobson a take home car, he should have filed obstruction of justice charges on them. I don't know what to say or to do, but if the people of Lumberton let this continue, they're going to be next. Jonathan, please be safe becasue those crooks are out to get you too. I'm praying for you all.

    Jon keep writing and Mayor Holder need to keep serving til the end...giving up her position is what they want her to do, but don't give up!

    We all need to come together and support Mayor Holder. We see now who is causing all the problems. Bobby and Tim need to realize what color they are and where they have been in there lives. Bobby should've been arrested when he went to New Jack with a gun. Bobby has alot of skeletons in his closet. I know he don't want someone to open the doors. Voters ride around Love Quarters and look at the pot holes. Now you know Tim is not for his community or the people. He said on tv that the citizens will get behind them. Not in this life time. He also said they took all the fat out of the budget but did he realize they left some at city hall.He didn't want to comment on the arrest of Mayor Holder because he didn't know the details. A lie if I ever heard one. He knows he took part in it to. I'm sure Bobby and Ben called him to get his input. Who does he think he's fooling. We as citizens might not know what they are always doing or saying but God knows. Everyone that witness this mess needs to show up at city hall at the next board meeting and support Mayor Holder.

I called this post the pills and potions edition because after looking at the budget that was presented; it's obvious this board is overdosing on something. I can't tell where any real cuts were made to the budget; it seems the same. The fact that the board paid Richard Rose $1, 600 to prepare this budget is a joke. Why do we have a city clerk if she cannot prepare a budget? What is she doing all day other than reading the Lumberton Informer or thinking of her next lie? The board claimed that Richard Rose was doing this out of the goodness of his heart, that he knew the City of Lumberton was not in a position to pay him. So, rather than charging the normal going rate for an embattled city manager that was allegedly terminated for not reporting to work and other matters; Rose decided he will charge the fiscally challenged City of Lumberton a mere $1,600 and a motorcycle. Stealing Elections: Lumberton Style

Last night when I went to the Ben Barrett Voting Center to watch the counting of the vote, I entered the building about 10 minutes before the polls closed and the picture above is what I saw. Throughout the day, many people expressed their concerns that the poll workers didn't match the demographics of the City of Lumberton. I shrugged it off after someone texted me, assuring me that the election was going to be fair. Well, that was not the case. Later in the day, a voter came to me with evidence that the votes had been compromised. They gave me two torn affidavit ballots that were torn up and thrown in the trash in the women's restroom at the voting center. Interesting. There was another person that came to me about the conversation they overheard between Cora Rogers and her mother, Voncile Richardson. It seems that Ms. Voncile wanted to cast a vote for me but her daughter, Cora Rogers, instructed her to mark the ballot for Kent Crider. Interesting. Last

Kim Rogers: A Phenomenal Woman

I've always said that I don't offer balance throughout this blog. It seems that most of the focus is placed on the bad things or more gossipy topics, but I think today is a good day to give credit where credit is due. I know she don't do what she do for attention or accolades but I would like to tip my hat to Mrs. Kim Rogers, founder of the KeKe B Foundation. Kim, like many other women of our community, is a testament to the power of hop, courage and resilience of a loving mother. I don't know how she does it but she has chosen to take a stand when others would have buckled under pressure. Her dedication and courage has touched so many people in so many ways. The work she's doing through the KeKe B Foundation will be a beacon for many generations to come and the she many never realize the impact her courage has made in the lives of others.
